SKIPPY® Peanut Butter looks to increase brand presence in the United Kingdom by declaring “Americans are nuts!” They’re launching two new spots where a Stunt Nut’s nutty stunts go terribly wrong but also deliciously right.
British people don’t use much peanut butter, but they see Americans as peanut butter experts. So, the Stunt Nut spots help drive trial of Skippy® peanut butter by positioning the brand as the most American peanut butter option. David Mackereth, Creative Director and American at BBDO Minneapolis said, “When things in your country feel a little nuts, why not take those nuts and make some Skippy® Peanut Butter?”
The stop-motion spots were created by Kirsten Lepore, the creator of the viral video Hi Stranger.
