The truth: 43 million Americans have Spam on their shelves, keeping it on hand for emergencies. To get people to crave it, not save it, we made some noise, highlighting the one sound that meat lovers can’t resist: SPAM’s sizzle.

We created a home shopping channel on Facebook Live where fans could get cool SPAM swag by using SPAM’s sizzle as a currency.

By simply posting a picture or video of their sizzling SPAM on Facebook, SPAM fans had a chance to win all kinds of SPAM swag and a grand prize trip to Hawaii – the Mecca for SPAM.
IMPACT
People were sizzling for this campaign (literally) and SPAM saw sales increase by 26%.
